Sometimes, doubt follows amazing victories. Has that ever happened to you? That’s what happened to Abraham. The great patriarch experienced a commanding victory…but then, doubt crept in.

When your world begins to shake, you can go in one of two directions. You can turn to God and trust him to steady you. Or you can turn away from God and conclude he doesn’t care…maybe, he doesn’t even know what to do, so you’re better off on your own. At the end of the day, here’s the question: Which way will you turn?

Jesus is the Good Shepherd. He never fails to provide everything I need.

Seek those things that honor him. Stay on the path of obedience, then you will receive the great blessings God has for you.

Can I delight in God when yet another burden is piled on my heavy heart? Habakkuk teaches me that true joy in “God my Savior” is independent of my current issues.

Don’t give up hope. Keep the desires of your heart ignited. Don’t let shattered plans become abandoned plans. It’s the desire to keep pushing forward, to keep hoping, to keep trusting that turns night into day and reminds us that light is near.
