LIVING GROUNDED BOARD MEMBERS
Greg DeVore, Board Member
Greg DeVore is a retired small business owner with a lifelong passion for discipleship and helping believers understand their position in Christ. He has led individuals and groups through Living Grounded, trained leaders in churches in the U.S. and internationally, and played a key role in launching Spanish and Thai translations of the book. Greg previously served as an elder at The Bible Chapel and continues to mentor leaders alongside his wife, Barbara, where they reside in Carolina Shores, North Carolina.
Doug Niesen, Chairman
Doug Niesen serves as Chairman of the Board of Living Grounded Ministry and has been involved with the organization for more than 20 years. He is President of United Refractories Co. in McMurray, Pennsylvania, and has a deep passion for sharing the gospel and encouraging others to know Jesus Christ as Savior. Doug and his wife, Heidi, have been married for 32 years and have three adult children.
Douglas E. Shaffer, Board Member
Douglas E. Shaffer is Executive Vice President and Vice Chairman of PNC Bank’s Corporate & Institutional Bank and has served on the Living Grounded Board since 2015. He also serves as Chairman of the Board of St. Clair Hospital and has held leadership roles with several nonprofit organizations. Doug is encouraged by Living Grounded’s ability to share God’s truth without physical boundaries. He lives in Upper St. Clair, Pennsylvania, with his wife, Sue, and enjoys outdoor activities.
Dave Stombaugh, Treasurer
Dave Stombaugh has over 40 years of experience as a Certified Public Accountant with Stenger, Bies & Company Inc. He joined the Living Grounded Board to support a ministry that faithfully impacts lives through God’s Word. Dave previously served as an elder at The Bible Chapel and values faith and family deeply. He has been married for 43 years, has two sons, and four grandchildren, and resides in Mt. Lebanon, Pennsylvania.

Jenn Booth, Executive Director
Jenn Booth serves as Executive Director of Living Grounded, providing vision, leadership, and oversight to advance the ministry’s mission and impact. She previously served in executive leadership at The Bible Chapel and brings additional experience from her corporate background at Chrysler Financial. Jenn and her husband, Alan, who is a pastor, have four children and live in Bethel Park, Pennsylvania.
Lara Craine, Digital Media Specialist
Lara Craine serves as Digital Media Specialist for Living Grounded, combining her part-time ministry role with life as a full-time stay-at-home mom. She oversees the ministry’s social media presence and graphic design, helping communicate biblical truth with clarity and creativity. Lara lives in Bridgeville, Pennsylvania with her husband, DJ, and their three sons.
Mark James, Media Technologist
Mark James serves as Media Technologist for Living Grounded, supporting the ministry part-time while working full-time as a Senior Technical Consultant for ESRI. He manages the website and oversees the technical aspects of daily devotions, podcast releases, and digital communication. Mark lives in Olathe, Kansas, with his wife, Robin, and their four children.
Ryan Yorgen, Production Specialist
Ryan Yorgen serves as Production Specialist for Living Grounded, handling podcast video production and editing. He also works full-time as Director of Media Production for 1 Team Media and previously worked with the Pittsburgh Penguins. Ryan and his wife, Katie, live in the North Hills of Pittsburgh and welcomed their first baby in 2025.
