Episode 119 Kent’s Story: Do It Afraid
Fear stops a lot of people from stepping into the life God is inviting them to live—but what if fear isn’t the signal to stop, but the signal to trust Him more deeply? In this episode of the Living Grounded Podcast, we welcome back Kent Chevalier, chaplain of the Pittsburgh Steelers, to talk about courage, calling, and the message behind his book Do It Afraid. Kent shares how to discern whether fear is a warning or an invitation from God, the role prayer plays when facing intimidating decisions, and practical steps anyone can take to move forward in faith.

I’ve not previously watched any of these podcasts even though I’ve seen them and thought they might be interesting. This one pulled me in. Wow! Such an awesome story, such a relatable and compelling case for making the effort to hear the message that God is sending…and how to do it. So real, and down to earth…the discussion of responsibility, the need to provide for your family, the fear of failure, all things that every man wrestles with…how will I pay for college and weddings etc…and the need to recognize that you might actually be denying your family access and recognition to the real provider by trusting yourself as the provider. The Lord was speaking to me today through Kent Chevalier. I will definitely be reading this book. God brought me to this place today. AMEN!
I love this podcast. We all deal with fear and being afraid when God asks us to do something out of our comfort zone….. and yes we need wisdom and we need God.
Thank you for this pod cast.
