As David neared death, he desired three things for his son. 

Ask God to help you read his Word every day (or keep reading his Word every day).

Our prayer focus today is simply this, “Speak, Lord, for your servant is listening.”

God’s Word is to be the controller of our hearts—the control room of our lives. We can’t impart what we don’t possess.

Start with adoration—tell God how much you love him. Spend time in confession—confess your sin, your fear, your doubt.

We know that God is working through all the circumstances of our lives. We are confident that God will complete the good work He has started in us. In one word . . . we, the sons and daughters of God, are . . . rich!

Read God’s Word and avoid the sinful storms!

Eternal life to all who believe. The Word became flesh: Sinful man in communion with the Holy God!

The eternal God came to man, explained His plan, invites us to have a personal relationship with Him, and talk with Him in prayer.
