When I understand and accept that I am a part of God’s story, I will not spend my life working for food that spoils. Instead, I will invest in eternal things because I know God’s story is an eternal one.

From his birth to his death, he demonstrated ultimate humility.

Jesus once told a story about a man whose ground produced a good crop. The man was already wealthy; his barns were full. But instead of generosity, he practiced greed. He tore down his barns and built bigger ones. He was focused on his own security.

Weigh your words. Hold your tongue. Think before you speak. That simple exercise is going to keep you from a lot of sin and regret.
