Jesus is the Good Shepherd.

Have you looked to Jesus alone? Have you believed in him as the One who paid the penalty for your sin on the cross? Do you know with certainty that you have eternal life?

When I submit to the Spirit’s control instead of my own desires, I will always do what pleases God. That’s an amazing truth, isn’t it?

I will never experience the penalty of eternal death and separation from God. Today I can live in confidence and security!

Acknowledge the battle. That’s the first step in the spiritual growth process called sanctification.

Being man and sinless, Jesus was the only one who could die on man’s behalf. There was no other one and no other way. And yet we get just a hint of the pain of the cross in today’s passage.

The Son of the Most High took on the highest assignment. He came to rescue us from our sin and bring eternal life to all who trust in him as their personal Savior.

Jesus, Son of God and Son of Man, is the only way that sinful man can have an eternal relationship with the holy God.

His death paid the penalty for our sin. Through the Son of God and only through the Son of God can we have everlasting life.
