Sin

His arms are open wide. He is ready to forgive and restore. But you have to come back home.

You can’t save yourself. Only Jesus can save you. Trust Him completely to take you through this life and one day carry you home.

What turned the crowd against Jesus? They didn’t get what they wanted. They desired a powerful king to deliver them from the rule of Rome. Jesus came as a servant to deliver them from the rule of sin.

Maybe sin has knocked you for a loop. Maybe it has wrestled you to the ground and pinned your back to the mat. You don’t have to stay down. Today’s passage is a bold reminder that it’s time to get up, stand straight, and, by God’s grace, move forward.

He waits for you with open arms. Time for you to make that journey back home, isn’t it?

Remember it is better to be obedient on the front end than to deal with the consequence of sin - even forgiven sin – on the back end.

Remember the locusts came as a result of their sin. But in God’s grace, He desires to bring restoration.

If you sow the winds of sin, you will reap the whirlwind of consequences.

Unconditional love does not give us a license to sin. It shows us the heart of God. It gives us a desire to demonstrate our love for Him.
