So, deal with your sin. Confess it to God. Confess it to others. Decide to leave your crooked ways and walk securely. If you don’t . . . if you continue along the crooked path . . . sooner or later . . . well . . . you know what’s going to happen . . . and it isn’t going to be pretty!

I am frail and always one stupid step away from destroying my integrity and witness for you. I am thankful for your grace, but, O God, put within me the fear of the consequences you place on sin. Keep me from being destroyed by duplicity.

Father, teach us that integrity is to be applied in every area of our lives. Teach us that the failure to do so is not integrity at all.

So...make plans that are fair to everyone in your life because your plan will impact everyone in your life!

But Madoff lost much more than his freedom; he lost his integrity. A man can live without a lot of things...but not that.

With each step of faith, the way that was once confusing becomes clear; the path that was once dark is bright. The journey to heaven is a journey of faith…one step at a time.

Think about the power of wisdom. It encompasses mental capacity, behavioral control, reality thinking, the pursuit of the best, God’s values, and his way of achieving them.

The sovereign God used Augustus to move His chosen couple from Nazareth to Bethlehem. As the Proverb says, “In the Lord’s hand the king’s heart is a stream of water that he channels toward all who please him” (Proverbs 21:1).
