Jobs, possessions, relationships, money, hobbies, and a host of other things serve as the “add-ons” and the consequences flow to our children and grandchildren.

Jesus said that our heart follows after the things we really treasure and value. In what direction is your heart headed?

One day you will look to your Maker. Please don’t wait until “that day.” Turn your eyes to the Holy One today!

Jobs, possessions, relationships, money, hobbies and a host of other things serve as the “add on” for many worshipers. It’s sad that today’s passage described Israel. But having been warned of sin’s consequences, it’s even more tragic if this passage describes us today.

How about you? Where are your tents pitched? What are you willing to concede for your “flocks to thrive”? Many are willing to compromise their reputation, marriage and family for the sake of power and possessions.
