Overcome

Most of us are afraid of the dark—the absence of light. That’s where chaos, fear, disillusionment, and anxiety reside. It’s the place where the unknown lives. What is waiting for us…hiding from us…in the darkness? It paralyzes. We can’t move forward in the darkness. But here is the good news—the believers’ light is always shining.

Can anything separate you from Jesus? Can Sin? Defeat? The enemy? Let’s see what today’s passage says. In answer to the question, “Can anything separate you from Jesus?” the apostle Paul says…

The church participates in all the spiritual blessings provided for us by Jesus. He made it clear that he would build his church, and the gates of hell could not overcome it.

God is all-powerful. There is nothing he cannot accomplish. You can trust him.
