Only God can make us holy. Maybe that has been one of your struggles. You have been trying to make yourself good enough for God. Good luck with that. But here’s the good news - Jesus came to do for us what we could not do for ourselves.

Adam was formed out of the dust, but his partner was formed from the already created man. Today’s passage begins with Adam’s first words after he woke up to see his partner. When you read the passage, don’t miss Adam’s sheer excitement. He is beside himself!

Today, for all who trust in the work of Christ to bring them into a personal relationship with God, that same power exists. Have you trusted in Jesus as the one who made the way to God?

Jesus did not come to represent God as an ambassador represents a country. He did not come to tell us about God. He was God…in the flesh. He came to show us God. He came to reveal the Person of God. When you have seen Jesus, you have seen the Father.
