Lord

God is the God of the hills and valleys.

If you are running away from God it’s time to stop and turn your heart back to him.

He alone fills our fearful and unsettled hearts with peace and joy.

The battle belongs to the Lord. Give it to him and watch him work through you to plant a big rock in your giant’s forehead.

We hold on to him…but really, he is the One holding on to us.

It’s one thing to make a promise; it’s another thing to keep it.

God wants your life to be enveloped by his peace! He is Yahweh Shalom! 

Pray that God will help you keep this daily commitment—"For me and my house; we will serve the Lord.”

Thank God that he is immutable and immovable. Thank him for his encouragement and protection. Let him know that you are clinging to him—even in the storm.
