Just
Names of God: The Lord is our Righteousness
Righteousness. We use that word often, but what does it mean? This is a rich theological word that describes who God is and what he does. Let’s take time to make sure we understand it.
Ecclesiastes: Injustice - The Just Judge
For those whom Jesus has rescued, they will pass from death to life (John 5:24). They will be absent from the body, but present with the Lord (2 Cor. 5:8). The choice is clear. Trust Jesus, and live forever in heaven. Reject Jesus, live forever in hell. The just Judge will dispense justice to all.
Road Rules: Thoughtful Plans
So...make plans that are fair to everyone in your life because your plan will impact everyone in your life!
The Song of the Lamb
Through your joy or through your tears, proclaim that His deeds are “great and marvelous.” Regardless of your circumstances, tell Him that His ways are “just and true.” Bow before Him in a posture of worship and say, “Father, You alone are holy.”
The Sin Game
Don’t run from him; run to him! God promises that if we confess our sins, he “is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness” (1 John 1:9). It’s time to come out of the darkness into the wonderful light of God’s grace.
