Inheritance
Light in the Darkness: Sealed with the Spirit
Living in the light is living in confidence. We can see where we are going, and we know we will arrive at our destination. There is no “we might make it.” We will experience eternal life in heaven with the Lord! How can we be confident of heaven? Check out today’s passage.
Living Hope
The life of the believer is a life of living hope. God’s great mercy saves, and through the death, burial, and resurrection of his Son, the road home has been paved. The heavenly inheritance that awaits us is “kept in heaven” for us. Unlike the shiny objects that distract us, it is “imperishable, undefiled, and unfading.”
Ecclesiastes: Wisdom is an Inheritance
I like to think of Ecclesiastes as Solomon’s journal. He is reflecting over a long life and clearly communicating that without God, life doesn’t make sense. We live under the sun but need an over the sun perspective for things to fit together.
God Is At Work
God is using every minute to mold you into the person He needs you to be for the next leg of the journey. God is at work. He loves you with unconditional love. He has given you an inheritance that can never perish, spoil, or fade.
Our Inheritance
Through the work of Jesus, believers have an eternal inheritance that will “never perish, spoil or fade - kept in heaven for you” (1 Peter 1:4). Our rebirth comes with powerful privileges.
