Humble

He had indeed scattered the proud and lifted up the humble! 

Spiritual service does not include spiritual swagger.

Today is the day to seek his forgiveness. Time to come back home.

Ask God for you to be an instrument of his peace.

Humbly accepting that God is incomprehensible is the first step of faith.

Dependence on ourselves is antithetical to dependence on God.

The spiritual journey is not a path for those with a proud, self-satisfied swagger.

In this section of Proverbs, He slams the hammer down with a series of admonitions. I see four important warnings in today’s passage.

Today is the day to humble yourself before God. Today is the day to seek His forgiveness. It is time to come back home.
