When will Jesus return—and how should Christians live while we wait for the Second Coming?

Rather than giving us a date to predict, Jesus gives us a way to live. He tells his followers to stay awake, pray for strength, and remain spiritually prepared. The promise of Christ’s return should shape how we live today—keeping our hearts focused on God rather than becoming consumed by the cares of this life.

So, are we living ready for Jesus to return?

Does God care more about how much we give-or the heart behind our generosity?

To answer this question, Jesus draws attention to a poor widow who gives just two small coins. While others gave out of their abundance, she gave sacrificially, offering all she had.

Her example shows us that biblical generosity isn’t ultimately about the size of the gift. It’s about a heart of sacrifice, dependence, and worship.
