Friendship

I just finished recording a podcast with three individuals who have a unique relationship. God put them in the same neighborhood. They have children similar in age. They study the Bible together. They watch each other’s kids and take care of practical needs. They are going through all the stuff of life.

The Christian life was never meant to be lived alone. We need others who will build into our lives as we build into theirs. A true friend is like a safe harbor providing security and protection. Best of all, a good friend “loves at all times.”

Proverbs is the best parenting book ever written. But it’s not just for parents. This book is the Bible’s one-stop shop offering everyday wisdom for everyday life.

Today let’s thank God for good friends!
