“Condemned”—it’s a solemn word with heavy consequences. Often, it precedes the words “to die.” Condemned to die. Condemnation conveys hopelessness. In Scripture, the word describes physical death accompanied by spiritual and eternal death as well.

BATTLE READY: THE BATTLEFIELD

What causes us to sin? Is it our environment? Does it have to do with our family of origin? Is it in our genes? Let’s consider these questions as we look at our passage today.

Set Free

When we “know (and obey) the truth,” we will find the freedom in Christ we have been looking for.

Righteous

With Jesus, our verdict is, “Not guilty!” His sacrifice provides full pardon. The Righteous sets the sinner free!

Gift of God

God holds it out to you right now. Receive the Gift of God, and your life will be changed forever.

The Truth
Image

To say that Jesus is the truth is to say that there is no speck of doubt or hint of question in who he is, what he does, and what he says. Jesus is God!

Off With the Old
Image

He gives us the invitation to help others take off their grave clothes of guilt, unworthiness, legalism, pride, and baggage of the past—what a tremendous privilege. Jesus raises the dead and then lets us set the new believer free!

Acknowledging the Battle

I will never experience the penalty of eternal death and separation from God. Today I can live in confidence and security!

No Surprises

Eternal life is a free gift of grace through faith in Jesus alone.
