Here’s the hard truth. Whether the source is the world, the flesh, or the devil, at the end of the day we own our disobedience.

God doesn’t waste your time. He is reminding you that He is all you need, that His grace is abundant, and that He shows up with great power in your weakness.

Jesus meets you where you are with His once-for-all sacrifice and carries you all the way to eternity.

Eternal life to all who believe. The Word became flesh: Sinful man in communion with the Holy God!

The eternal God came to man, explained His plan, invites us to have a personal relationship with Him, and talk with Him in prayer.

The arm of flesh versus the hand of God. Be confident. God will have His way every time!

Adam was formed out of the dust, but his partner was formed from the already created man. Today’s passage begins with Adam’s first words after he woke up to see his partner. When you read the passage, don’t miss Adam’s sheer excitement. He is beside himself!

The Promise was not a politician who came to change the laws of the land. The Promise was not a philosopher who came to teach morality. The Promise did not come as a military leader ready to take troops into battle. The Promise did not appear as a religious leader paving a way for man to work his way to God. The Promise “became flesh and made his dwelling among us.”

“The Lord saves.” That’s exactly what Jesus was sent to do. He would do great and powerful things. He would be God in the flesh, “the Son of the Most High.” He would rule as king and His kingdom would be an eternal one.
