Consequences

When God is out of the picture, we lose direction and focus. Our thoughts and emotions are easily distracted by our circumstances.

There are always consequences for disobedience. Consequences will show up . . . sooner or later.

He waits for you with open arms. Time for you to make that journey back home, isn’t it?

Remember it is better to be obedient on the front end than to deal with the consequence of sin - even forgiven sin – on the back end.

If you sow the winds of sin, you will reap the whirlwind of consequences.

Maybe today the scars of your life show that you have lived far from God. You know the consequence of walking away. You know the inward pain and regret. You know the hurt that you have caused others. But please hear this - there is no sin that God cannot and will not forgive.

It’s time to stop the secret games and make the journey home to God’s welcoming arms of mercy.

Today’s passage issues a strong warning. Sin always brings consequences.
