Confidence

The sermon he preached that day to our church, meeting in a high school auditorium at that time, was not about storms but about the One who gives us confidence in the storm. We don’t have to live in fear—even when the storm comes—the Lord is our confidence. He is all we need. He is all we will ever need. 

But when our strong confidence is in God, our children also see that and trust in him. God will be a spiritual shelter and protection for them, just as he has been for us. 

He is ready to give you all the help you need to resist and obey. He invites us to approach him with confidence. What are you waiting for?

No one is responsible for God’s existence. He has always been, and he will never cease to be. He will never leave nor forsake us.

Jesus felt sin’s entire power, its total force. He was tempted but never gave in.

In whom or what do you trust? In whom or what do you place your confidence?

Even in my most vulnerable time—when I lie down to sleep—God provides sweet confidence.

Wholehearted trust is the confidence that God knows best in all situations.

David knows that God will always do what is right.
