Come

Four times in this verse God invites all to come. If you are spiritually thirsty, come. If you have no money, come. The rich spiritual food that God provides is free to all who will come. Jesus paid for your sins in full on the cross; the gift of salvation is yours without cost. Today, you may be searching yet experiencing that inward famine. God invites you to come to him.

I will share in his glory forever. Be encouraged! The best is yet to come.

As God’s child, my sins are paid for by Jesus, the Spirit of sonship lives in me, and I can call (this is unbelievable) the Creator of the Universe, “Daddy, Father”!

Jesus called children to his side. He told his listeners, “Let the little children come to me… for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven”.

I need to pray that God helps me live more like a citizen of heaven than a citizen of earth. 

For the believer, the best is always yet to come.

The entire Old Testament shouts, “Jesus is coming!” And the New Testament celebrates and proclaims the fact that He has come.

He waits with open arms for all repentant sinners to come home. His heart is filled with compassion as He welcomes us back with wide open arms of grace. Today the gracious and loving Father is waiting for you. It’s time to come home.
