Account

There is no good end for those who oppose God. In the short span of life, the wicked may seem to be getting along just fine. In fact, they may prosper in the three p’s of the world—position, power, and possessions. But for the wicked, every temporal win adds up to an eternal loss.

Do we really believe that the life we live today will determine the account we give tomorrow?

Fear God, keep his commandments, and don’t forget that one day you will give an account before God.

Pray that His “I am with you” promise fills that spot in your heart where fear once lived. Begin today to build the life that God has called you to build!

In Him, there is forgiveness and restoration. Don’t run from God (You can’t!). Run to Him. He is waiting with open arms.

Do we believe that we will one day stand before Christ and give an explanation of our lives? Do we really believe that the life we live today will determine the account we give tomorrow?

Fear God (live a life of worship), keep His commandments (He knows what He’s talking about), and don’t forget the judgment (one day we will give an account before God).

God says that nothing in all creation is hidden in his sight. “Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give an account” (Hebrews 4:13). You may pull the wool over the eyes of men, but nothing is hidden from God.
