THIS WEEK’S DAILY DEVO OVERVIEW: REVELATION 10:1—12:17

Revelation 10:1-11: The Angel and the Scroll

• God reveals what we need to know, but not everything at once. We are called to trust even when we don’t understand (Rev. 10:1-4). 
• One day God’s mysteries will be revealed (Rev. 10:5-7).
• God’s Word is both sweet and heavy (Rev. 10:8-11). 

Revelation 11:1-14: The Two Witnesses

• The two witnesses will represent God with power (Rev. 11:1-6).
• The two witnesses will be put to death, raised to life, and ascend to heaven (Rev. 11:7-14).
• Some believe the witnesses to be Moses and Elijah, Elijah and Enoch, or two chosen believers not of Old Testament notoriety. 

Revelation 11:15-19: The Lord God Almighty

• Heaven will announce Christ’s coming kingdom (Rev. 11:15).
• The Almighty God is on his throne (Rev. 11:16-17). 
• The coming judgment and Reward are God’s Eternal Plan (Rev. 11:18-19). 

Revelation 12:1-6: The Woman. The Dragon. The Christ.

• The Woman — God’s People and the Promise of the Messiah (Rev. 12:1-2).
• The Dragon — Satan’s Hostility and Opposition to God’s Plan (Rev. 12:3-4).
• The One Who Is to Rule — Christ’s Victory and God’s Protection (Rev. 12:5-6).

Revelation 12:7-17: The Dragon Falls

• Satan is defeated and thrown down to earth (Rev. 12:7-9).
• All of heaven rejoices at the victory (Rev. 12:10-12). 
• God protects his people while the dragon goes after them with a vengeance (Rev. 12:13-17).
