Heart

When bad things assault us, they shout large questions to our hearts. Questions that begin with “Why,” How” and “Who.” And frequently our heart is at a loss for words.

Have you ever wondered why that awful or delightful thing happened to you? Perhaps wondered what you did to deserve either? Jacob had those thoughts too.

God moves in the hearts of His people. He spurs them to good works, which He prepared in advance for them to do.  But then what?

Your heart is full of dreams and disappointment.  You want to make a difference for God but there have been significant obstacles in your path.  Take heart again, because that’s the story of Nehemiah.  And his experience can help put you back on the path to achieving your dreams.
