Position Overview

Are you highly organized, tech-savvy, detail-oriented, and passionate about creating systems that make information accessible and usable?

The Digital Content Archivist helps organize, catalog, and maintain the ministry’s growing library of biblical teaching and media resources. This role focuses on developing searchable systems for decades of sermons, radio programs, and ministry content while supporting the organization and expansion of the ministry’s digital knowledge archive.

This is a flexible, fully remote independent contractor role requiring approximately 5–10 hours per week.


Primary Responsibilities

Digital Archive Management

Organize and catalog radio programs, sermons, and ministry media content
Maintain searchable systems for series, topics, Scripture references, and teaching categories
Assist in developing accessible online resource libraries
Support ongoing organization of ministry media assets

Knowledge Base & Data Organization

Assist with uploading and organizing ministry content within AI-supported knowledge systems and data archives
Help maintain structured digital content libraries for future publishing and ministry development
Support content tagging, metadata organization, and search optimization

Website & Resource Support

Coordinate with ministry leadership regarding online resource organization
Assist with maintaining accessible sermon and audio archives on ministry platforms
Support digital file management and content organization initiatives


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong organizational and systems-management skills
  • Comfortable working with large volumes of digital content and files
  • Detail-oriented with excellent follow-through
  • Tech-savvy and able to learn new platforms quickly
  • Experience with digital libraries, databases, archives, or content management systems preferred
  • Familiarity with AI-supported research or knowledge management tools preferred
  • Ability to work independently and manage projects remotely
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Time Commitment

Compensation

  • Hourly contractor rate (based on experience)
  • Hours must be tracked and submitted
  • Independent contractor agreement required
