REFLECTIVE APPLICATIONAL QUESTIONS: ROMANS 8:18—9:29
- What current suffering are you walking through—and how might God be using it to strengthen your identity? What is God shaping in you that comfort alone could never achieve?
- When was the last time you felt too weak or confused to pray, and how might knowing that the Spirit intercedes for you change how you perceive those moments?
Reflect on your past or current struggles and acknowledge the Spirit’s quiet ministry.
- Which theological truths about the salvation process (foreknown, predestined, called, justified, glorified) resonate with you the most today—and why? Consider which truth you need to depend on today. Is it your calling? Your justification? Your future glory?
- Are there accusations—either from yourself or others—that you're still believing, even though God has declared you "Not guilty"?
- Do I trust God’s character enough to accept his mercy—even when I don't understand all his sovereign ways?
