REFLECTION QUESTIONS

  1. When you think about God, do you naturally picture Elohim—the all-powerful Creator—or Yahweh—the personal, covenant-keeping LORD? How does holding both together shape your worship and trust?

  2. God created the universe with absolute power, yet stooped down to form humanity and breathe life into us. Where in your life do you need to remember that the same powerful Creator is also personally near and attentive?

  3. Like God’s people throughout Scripture, we sometimes ask, “Is the LORD among us or not?” What circumstances in your life are currently testing your faith, and how might remembering God as Yahweh Elohim help you respond with trust rather than fear or impatience?

  4. If God the Father planned salvation, God the Son accomplished it, and God the Holy Spirit now lives in and empowers believers, how should that truth shape the way you live, pray, and trust God each day?

  5. What would it look like for you to approach your work this week as ministry rather than merely a paycheck?

Below is a list (not comprehensive) of God’s communicable and incommunicable attributes.
